In the face of our North American seasonal consumerist orgy - I offer this:
Spend time not money on your family.
They need you more than your gifts.
Give to the poor not the credit card companies, resist spending shun over spending.
Riches is not money, nor luxury excess.

Merry Christmas Turner family. I thought I would check in and see how you are. I love the way that these blogs let you share your thoughts. I'm with you on the overwhelming consumerism this time of year and I hate feeling like a "scrooge" if I express it. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas full of the gift of love.
